Fact Of The Day

As many of my friends are currently away travelling the world, or are planning on going travelling, this next Fact Of The Day, whilst incredibly informative, is also a word of warning.

If any of you stumble across the borders of Alaska, heed this warning, or face the consequences.

It is actually ILLEGAL to feed a moose alcohol in Alaska.

So you have been warned, don’t make the silly ‘moosetake’ of buying the moose next to you in the bar an alcoholic beverage.

These cunning moose will try all sorts of ways to lure you into buying them a drink; they just love the ‘elkohol’. They’d do anything to ‘gazelle’ it down. They like nothing better than an ‘ice cold deer’….

Don’t be fooled by their cute moose eyes, or their cute moose antlers, it would be an ‘enormoose’ error on your part........

Looking Fly for Thai

Nothing like a bit of controversy to start off the very first Looking Fly for Thai.

When Kate Moss revealed this motto that she lives her life by it did anger a lot of people, but if people want to lose weight then they will. It is how you go about doing it that is important, and I must reiterate that there is nothing pro-anorexia about 'Looking Fly for Thai'. It is merely a fun way to encourage and motivate those wanting to lose weight in a healthy way J

Besides nothing will taste as good as being skinny in Thailand will feel (just saying).

Thinspiration

As some of you may or may not be aware, even though avid readers of my blog should already know as I mentioned it in a previous post, I am off to Thailand in 6 short weeks.

One of my amazing and most beautiful friends, Pippa, loaned me the money, as it would have been a few weeks before I was able to get the money together, to pay for the flights. As such, I am now working like a dog in a local pub and restaurant to get the money to pay her back. It’s so much better working when you know you’re getting something incredible at the other end of it. So with every hour that passes by, it’s another £6.08 towards Thailand…slowly but surely.

Anyhow, back to the purpose of this post.

Six girls and I will be spending two of the most fun weeks of our lives in the Land of Thai.
The prospect of a bikini holiday throws even the skinniest of girls into a pre-holiday whirlwind of manic dieting and rigorous exercise, myself included. I have already vowed that unless I feel comfortable getting on the plane in a bikini then I’m not going!

The amazing and most beautiful friend I mentioned earlier, Pippa, is currently on the last leg of her travelling in New Zealand and is doing her own pre-holiday dieting on the other side of the world. Now being this amazing friend, and with the colossal time difference, it just so happens that most mornings I, along with my other friends lucky enough to have Pippa on BBM, wake up to a ‘Thinspiration’ picture from her that spurs us on for the rest of the day.

For those slightly denser readers who may not know the meaning of thinspiration, I have sourced a definition from one of the most academic and prestigious online dictionary’s- the Urban Dictionary.

As all 7 of the girls going to Thailand are currently on our pre-holiday diet, and with the creative muse from Pippa and her thinspiration pictures I have come up with a new idea for my blog. We all know the famous sayings, “No carbs before Marbs”, “No pizza before Ibiza” etc. etc.

Now I have come up with my own. Get ready for this one, I really feel it’s going to take off….

‘Looking Fly for Thai’

You heard it here first, a LikeWise original. Copyright on that bad boy!

Every day (or near enough every day) I will be posting a thinspiration picture or quote to do my bit for the pre-holiday dieting girls (and guys) out there.

(But remember girls –and guys- all diets in moderation and do it safely. This is no pro-anorexia site, just a helpful momentum to keep you going).

Tune in later today for the very first Looking Fly for Thai.
